I’m likely to rant about anything that I feel is important at the time. I’ve studied literature, folklore, film, art, and history. I also keep a close ear to hard science, anthropology, some politics, and pop culture. I have a Master’s degree in English literature, I foil-fence, and I’m married with a kid, which means I don’t have time for anything. I don’t like giving opinions; in fact I don’t like the word ‘opinion.’  Too many well developed arguments are ignored because people write them off as ‘opinions.’  I try to make claims.  I don’t always back up my claims with evidence, but that’s the deadly game one plays with a blog set aside for personal rants.  I write, mostly poetry, but more professional pieces won’t be posted here (they’re saved for submissions to magazines).
